Jewel de Gelder passed away from breast cancer in May 2022 at the age of 31 after a two year battle with the disease.
This foundation has been set up by her family as per her wishes, to assist where we can people with major health challenges by offering some of our wellness therapies at a heavily discounted price. This is especially important when these therapies are required on a regular basis and can become a considerable financial burden.
Our Activities
The Jewel Foundation along with Health104 Wellness Spa host events and fundraisers to raise funds to provided subsidised services for clients with a critical need for the therapies we offer.
In the future we will join with like minded retreats to offer wellness and respite activities on more remote locations.
We will also endeavour to continue to research and provided therapies that make managing with these extreme diseases less of a stress to the individual and their families.
We must stress we do not offer medical solutions or promises of a cure but we do our utmost to provide respite and support from the stress illness can cause.
